Recommended Supply: The suggested number of each type of potion to carry with you when you may be in harms way. Keep in mind that this amount was suggested by alchemists.
Price: This price guide is meant to serve as a very rough guide for you to use when deciding on purchasing potions. Many alchemists will sell potions right around --or even below-- their cost to make them, since they are interested in selling a great many potions. Prices on vendors tend to be higher than buying directly from an alchemist, but vendors are often more convenient. Expect to pay more in exotic locations, and from those of higher skill. The price of potions is based on supply and demand, be ready to deal accordingly.

Cost per Potion: The average cost to make a potion at around the mid-point of each skill level (Novice, Adept...) NOTE: This includes the cost of the bottle(6gp), the reagents(3gp or 6gp) --including average reagents wasted due to failure-- BUT does not include any of the following expences: Travel cost (if you recall for reagents), Vendor costs, Cost above the minimum reagent cost, Food cost (if you eat while you grind), Container cost or any thought of recouping the money you spent to reach your current skill level.
